PLAINFIELD, IL — "In case you're wondering: the 67th annual Community Homecoming Parade steps off at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, October 6, 2018, rain or shine," District 202 said in a statement issued Friday afternoon. Do you know that I waited for the 67th Annual Community Homecoming Parade? Rain or Shine, Plainfield Homecoming is happening. The parade steps off in the downtown of Plainfield last Saturday-October 06, 2018. This year’s ceremony features the previous President of District 202 Board of Education and community volunteer, Michelle Smith as the Grand Marshall. This day is a weekend homecoming for the people in Plainfield, especially the Plainfield East and the Central High Schools of Plainfield. During this occasion, there’s a parade and other activities. So, it’s expected that there was the closing of roads. The homecoming went well and fine. Rain or shine, go on!

I have one excellent word description for Settlers Park in Plainfield, Illinois. It’s is breathtaking. To be honest, I love the beauty of this park all throughout the year. To be honest with you, I had been here 22 times last year and visioning to double the number this year. I feel pressured lately at work, and this park gives me a peaceful feeling as well as a great feeling. The green field I see when I am just on my way makes me excited every single day that I go here. In fact, this has become my exit for many stressful activities at work. Whenever I am here, I just enjoy and celebrate the park. I feel relaxed and refreshed! The Settler’s Park is not only beautiful, but it’s also breathtaking!
